The Role of Faith in Experiencing God's Work
Faith is the cornerstone of experiencing the divine workings of God. 'So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good' (1 Peter 4:19). This scriptural insight highlights the significance of building faith through hearing and studying the word of Christ, as 'faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ' (Romans 10:17). Through fellowship with other believers, as encouraged in Hebrews 10:24-25, we stimulate one another to love and good deeds, reinforcing the communal aspect of faith. Moreover, serving others and witnessing are practical ways to fortify our belief, reminding us that 'As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead' (James 2:26). Psalm 9:10 further assures us, 'Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you,' affirming that active faith is essential in our spiritual walk with God.
