The Bible isn’t short on wild imagery—four-faced creatures, burning wheels in the sky, dragons, and even a talking donkey. But one of its most underrated and striking metaphors is found in Revelation: a sword, not in a warrior’s hand, but coming straight out of someone’s mouth.

That someone? Jesus.

Most people, even those familiar with the Bible, have a picture of Jesus that’s soft around the edges. A wandering teacher in sandals. A man who flips tables occasionally but mostly preaches love, peace, and turn-the-other-cheek theology. And while that’s not wrong, the Book of Revelation presents a very different side of Him—one that’s less "meek and mild" and more "ready to judge the nations with a weaponized decree."
